About

The small studio behind DinnerFlow.

DinnerFlow is not a content site with an app attached. It is an Android app that happens to have a website. Here is who builds it, why it exists, and how to reach the people behind it.

Who we are

DinnerFlow is built and maintained by BetuWorks, a small independent software studio based in the Netherlands. There is no big company behind it, no content team, and no growth department: the same people who answer the support inbox write the code that ships to Google Play.

BetuWorks is the legal entity named in the app's Terms of Service and Privacy Statement. If you email hello@dinnerflow.app, it lands with the people who actually build the app.

Why we built it

DinnerFlow started with the most ordinary problem in any household: nobody knows what's for dinner, the shopping list lives on one phone, and half the recipes you'd like to cook are scattered across screenshots, bookmarks, and browser tabs. We wanted one place where a household plans the week, keeps its own recipes, and gets a single shopping list out of it. Not a recipe catalogue that tells you what to cook, but a planner built around your own recipes.

That focus shapes every feature: recipe import from websites and photos, a weekly dinner calendar, household sharing with real-time sync, and a grocery list that builds itself from the plan and sorts by supermarket aisle. You can see the full list on the features page, or just try the app, the core is free.

How we work

  • The app is the product. DinnerFlow is a real, shipping Android app on Google Play. Everything on this website describes features that exist in the app today, and where something does not exist (an iOS version, for instance) the site says so plainly.
  • Local-first by design. Your data lives on your device first and syncs to the cloud for backup and household sharing. The list keeps working in a supermarket with no signal.
  • Honest guides. The guides on this site are written and maintained by us, the people who build the app. Where a competitor is genuinely better for your situation, our comparison pages say so.
  • Five languages, one team. The app and site are available in English, Dutch, German, Spanish, and French. We are Dutch, so the Dutch version is where we hold ourselves to the highest standard.
