DinnerFlow Features.
Everything DinnerFlow does — from importing a recipe to checking off the last item at the supermarket. All features grouped by what you're trying to get done.
Four ways to build your library.
Paste any recipe URL and DinnerFlow automatically parses the title, ingredients, and step-by-step instructions from the page — no copying required.
Photograph a cookbook page or handwritten recipe card and Gemini AI extracts the full recipe so you can save it to your library in seconds.
Paste any unformatted recipe text and DinnerFlow turns it into a clean, structured recipe — with a proper ingredient list and numbered steps — ready to plan.
Write a recipe from scratch with a full ingredient list and step-by-step instructions, stored in your library exactly like any imported recipe.
Know what's for dinner before Tuesday.
Assign recipes to any day over any date range and see your full week at a glance — adjusting the plan takes seconds, not re-planning the whole week.
A random recipe picker that draws from your own library with configurable filters, so on nights when nobody can agree there's still a decision in seconds.
A full-screen step-by-step cooking guide with a screen wakelock that keeps your phone on the whole time — so you can follow recipes with floury hands.
See every meal you've actually cooked and discover which recipes are quietly becoming household favourites — useful for building a reliable weekly rotation.
One list, one pass, nothing missed.
Tap once and DinnerFlow reads every recipe in your meal plan and builds a combined grocery list automatically — no manual copying from recipe to recipe.
Ingredients that appear in multiple recipes are combined and unit-converted automatically, so you buy one 500 g bag of rice instead of three separate small amounts.
Gemini AI sorts every item by supermarket aisle — produce, dairy, meat, pantry — so you move through the store in one pass without backtracking.
Save a reusable template for your recurring shop so your weekly staples are always available in one tap, without re-adding the same items every time.
One household, one plan.
Every household member can add, browse, and cook from the same recipe collection, kept in sync across all devices so no recipe ever lives on just one phone.
Everyone in the household sees the same weekly dinner calendar, so whoever gets home first already knows what to start cooking — without a phone call.
When one person checks off an item at the store, it disappears from everyone else's screen immediately — no more duplicate milk or missed ingredients.
Invite your whole household with a single shareable code; joining a household is always free and never requires a subscription from the joining member.
Works in the supermarket basement.
Recipes, your meal plan, and your grocery list are always available even without a signal — DinnerFlow uses a local-first architecture so the app never depends on connectivity.
Changes made on any device sync automatically across your household when you reconnect, so everything stays consistent without any manual export or import.
Recipe photos back up to the cloud with DinnerFlow Pro, so your library is safe across devices and available even after a phone replacement or factory reset.
DinnerFlow is available in English and Dutch — beschikbaar in het Nederlands — with more languages planned for future releases.
Common questions.
Is DinnerFlow free?
Yes. DinnerFlow is free to download and use on Android. The free plan includes up to 50 recipes, manual grocery list entry, and list sharing. DinnerFlow Pro adds unlimited recipes, AI-powered aisle sorting, grocery list templates, household sharing with real-time sync, and cloud image backup.
Does DinnerFlow work offline?
Yes. DinnerFlow uses a local-first architecture, which means your recipe library, meal plan, and grocery list are stored on your device and always available — even without an internet connection. Changes sync automatically when you reconnect.
Does DinnerFlow work without wifi?
Yes — DinnerFlow is built to work fully without any network connection. The entire app runs from data stored locally on your device: your recipes, your meal plan, and your grocery list are all available whether you have wifi, mobile data, or no signal at all.
Will my grocery list work in a supermarket with no signal?
Yes. The grocery list is stored on your device and accessible without signal — which matters in supermarket basements, underground car parks, and stores in areas with poor coverage. When you check off items offline, the changes sync to your household as soon as you reconnect.
Is DinnerFlow available on iPhone?
DinnerFlow is currently available on Android. An iOS version is in development.
How many recipes can I store in DinnerFlow?
The free plan supports up to 50 recipes. DinnerFlow Pro removes this limit, allowing you to store an unlimited number of recipes.
Can I share DinnerFlow with my family or partner?
Yes. Create a household in DinnerFlow and invite family members with a single shareable code. Once joined, everyone shares the same recipe library, meal plan, and grocery list, synced in real time. Only the household creator needs DinnerFlow Pro — joining is always free.
Can I import recipes from any cooking website?
Yes. Paste any recipe URL and DinnerFlow automatically parses the title, ingredients, and step-by-step instructions from the page. You can also import recipes by photographing a cookbook page (AI-powered), pasting raw text, or entering a recipe manually.
